Dr. Norman Fried, PHD - Clinical Psychologist and Grief Counselor

Norman Fried is a clinical psychologist specializing in trauma and bereavement. He is the Former Director Psycho-Social Services at the Children's Cancer Centers of Northwell Health and Winthrop University Hospital in New York. He is the author if three books on recovery from trauma, as well as the forthcoming book entitled A iPhone Heart of Wisdom: Notes on Love, Loss and Recovery from the Desk if a Trauma Therapist. (Shield & Maiden Publishing). He is an adjunct professor if Pastoral Counseling at the Jewish Theological Seminary of Columbia University, and a past Fellow in Pediatric Psychology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Fried lives with his wife and three sons in Long Island New York.
